Retail POS Plus is an independent publication focused on one thing: helping retail businesses pick the right POS system. We're not a reseller, a merchant-services broker or an arm of any vendor — we research, test and publish comparisons, and we show our work.
What We Publish

How We're Funded

Editorial Independence
Commissions never decide rankings. Scores are computed from our published eight-criterion methodology before affiliate terms are considered, and commission rates are not an input to any score. You can check the result yourself: different systems win different categories on this site — overall, small stores, inventory depth, hardware — because that's what the evidence supports.
What We Don't Do
- We don't accept payment for rankings, placements or positive coverage.
- We don't fabricate testing claims. Where we rely on vendor pages or third-party reports instead of hands-on testing, we label the source and confidence level.
- We don't publish pricing we haven't checked — every price and rate carries a “last checked” date, and unverifiable figures are hedged and flagged for vendor confirmation.
